Ready to Work for South Carolina

Better education in South Carolina means better quality jobs in our state.

Economic studies show that the most important considerations for a company seeking to locate in a state are the quality and availability of the workforce and the public and higher educational systems. Education and jobs are inextricably intertwined.

Ninety-five percent of our children attend public schools. The quality of our public education today is an indicator of the quality of the work force of tomorrow.

South Carolina must reward committed teachers, encourage parental involvement, improve our school facilities and technology and convince students educational success is vital not only to their own future but also to the future success of South Carolina.

We need political leaders who will fight for full funding of our public schools, for our children and for our future.

That is why I want to be your Congresswoman.
