In Edgefield DAILY:
ANDERSON – Third Congressional District Candidate Jane Dyer (D-Anderson) will make an innovative policy announcement next week related to meeting healthcare and other needs of our military Veterans. She will introduce her initiative at stops in Easley, Anderson, Greenwood, Edgefield, and Aiken.
“There is nothing I am more passionate about than the well-being of our nation’s Veterans,” Dyer said. “It is one of the main reasons I want to serve in Congress.”
Dyer, a pilot with FedEx, served in the United States Air Force after graduating from Clemson University. Her husband, John, is a former Air Force pilot and a decorated Vietnam Veteran. Dyer’s stepson, also named John, recently completed tours as an A-10 pilot in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Dyer’s campaign is focused on helping the working families of the Third District, and she has repeatedly stressed common sense approaches to supporting job creation, public education, and Veterans.
“I’m hopeful that this proposal will make a practical difference in the lives of our Veterans,” she said. “And it’s an example of the kind of a people-first leadership I believe we need in Washington.”
