Congressional candidates Jeff Duncan and Jane Dyer faced each other Thursday for the first time since the primaries determined who would represent their parties on the November ballot.
Both are seeking the 3rd District congressional seat that is being vacated by Republican Gresham Barrett, who unsuccessfully ran for governor this year.
The candidates gave brief summaries of their positions and fielded several written questions from the audience of about 100 at the Taste of Distinction restaurant. The candidate forum was put on by the Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce.
Duncan, a Republican, is a state representative from Laurens County who owns a real estate firm and played football at Clemson University.
